We have been painted and tiled.......

We went down early this morning to meet with Supervisor at 7.30am.  There was a no show on his part.  A bit disapointed he didn't call to say he couldn't make it.  Anyhoo, we still went in and did our own walk thru.  The house looks amazing and even bigger now.  Couple of minor issues here and there but I'm sure it will all get rectified.
Render colour is Flood Mud (Darker) and Camel Train (Lighter)

Taking the good with the bad.......

Went to the house today and what do I see....broken glass on the front door.  Oh well Porter Davis will have to get this fixed.  But it was all hands on deck today.   There were 3 brickies, 3 plasterers and 3 guys doing the front render.  The bricks are just about finished.  95% of the house is plastered.  Man they move fast.  Everthing is going smoothly, but just notice there is not a door frame on our WIR.  Ooops!! We remember discussing  we wanted a door with our administrator it looks like we both slipped on that one.  I've emailed her to see if we can still have it put in.  See how we go.

Here are some pics.. .the good... the bad..... and the ugly.
 Good!!!!

Hmmm not sure of this look.  Small long window is the ensuite.  After we put plants/trees it may look better.

Coming along fine.  From the kitchen looking down to front door.

Loving our lounge room.

Great door, shame about the broken window.

The kids rumpus room.

The kids hallway leading to their 4 bedrooms and bathroom.

The ugly, but we will put up screening trees to cover this eye sore. The good thing is they can't look into our backyard.

We have external doors....

It's been a while since my last post.  I have been busy cleaning out my current home to prepare to put it up for sale by getting rid of things I no longer need. I can't believe how much I have gotten rid of and also have put items on ebay for sale.  Eg.  buffet, microwave cabinet, treadmill and more things to sell as the items won't suit in the new house so it's all going. It's amazing the things you find and think OMG there it is.  I've been looking for this....lol.

Anyway back to house talk.  Garage door, laundry door, entrance door have been installed.  Batts and soundproofing are all in.  Gyprock has been delivered ready for putting up.  Bricks are not far off from been finished.  Told they should be done by Tues 11th Oct or Wed 12th Oct.   Plastering will start next week also. They are moving so fast with this house, it's amazing. SS mentioned that painting and tiling will hopefully be done before Xmas leaving all the appliances to be installed after the Xmas/New Year break.

Roof tiles are on......

I was busy over the weekend and didn't get the chance to go past  the house.  So today, being very anxious, I drove down on my lunch break to go and check it all out.  And yes, there has been movement at the station.  Roof tiles are on, insulation is up and there were workers putting in the pumbing hoses while I was there.  All seems to be going well so far.
